In the summer of 2012, Flannelberry Fibre transformed into the partnership that is Flannelberry Creek: all the goodness that was Flannelberry Fibre, with more yarn, more fibres, and more equipment to help keep you knitting, crocheting, weaving, and spinning. Flannelberry herself is now focused primarily on the Far Traveller dye studio, and Frazzlehead is managing the day to day operations of Flannelberry Creek.
So, who are these two people, Frazzlehead and Flannelberry?
Flannelberry is a skilled felter and dyer, as well as a proficient spinner, weaver, and knitter, based in the Kootenay Valley in British Columbia. She loves the outdoors, and spends a lot of time in the garden or with the goats and chickens who share her farm.
Frazzlehead is a writer, knitter, spinner, and smallholder. She spends a lot of time making pretty string with several antique wheels, a great wheel, and a growing collection of supported spindles, and designing knitted items that make use of all that pretty string. Her blog is at applejackcreek.com
